01 / THE IDEA

Not a uniform look—
the right form for each message

Every brief, audience, and message is different. KUMIHAN|Satzbild helps AI shape typography, spacing, and hierarchy around the meaning and priorities of each piece—rather than applying one template to everything.

02 / WHAT MATTERS

Four things worth getting right

Practical priorities for creating and reviewing German content.

01 / TYPE

German typography

Long compounds, hyphenation, ß/ẞ/SS, nested quotes and number formats. de-DE, de-AT and de-CH remain distinct; currency, timezone, du/Sie and house style are explicit.

02 / STRUCTURE

Purposeful structure

Shape the layout around the information, its priority, and the reader’s goal.

03 / FIDELITY

Source fidelity

Names, prices, figures, umlauts and original wording stay exactly as supplied.

04 / REVIEW

Read-only review

Check finished work and organize issues—without touching the files.

GERMANY / AUSTRIA / SWITZERLAND

One German language
different regional customs

Satzbild works with a profile for each region and adapts to its character—quotation marks, spelling and vocabulary. Regional variants are respected rather than flattened, and the source text is preserved.

DEGermany
de-DE

Quotation marks „…“ are the norm, and ß follows a long vowel or diphthong (Straße, heiß).

ATAustria
de-AT

The vocabulary has its own features (Jänner, Marille, Paradeiser), recorded in the Österreichisches Wörterbuch.

CHSwitzerland
de-CH

ss is written instead of ß (Strasse), quotation marks are «…», and Swiss words such as Velo and Trottoir are part of everyday writing.
